I asked before but did not get an answer. If LA7s are so easy to shoot down, why is everyone complaining about them? And I am not arguing that, most of the times they are easy to shoot down (for many dif reasons). So, what is the problem?
Several reasons,
First (and this is true of every plane) ANY plane flown by an incompetent pilot is an easy kill for a reasonable pilot. Some planes(la7 is one of them) tend to be flown a lot more by less experienced pilots. The ease or difficulty of the kill has more to do with the pilot than the plane.
Second, it's a perk plane in everything but price. The aircraft in the planeset that the la7 is closest to in performance is the tempest. (Subtract a 20mm cannon, a few mph of speed, and a smaller turning radius)
Third, Fuel burn, The Ah1 La7 has an absurdly efficient engine, giving it a much longer flight duration than it should have.
Fourth, It's boring to shoot down the only same three aircraft types day after day.
