lol  :)

I paused after I re-did 2 109s that I had lost.

I had started an a5 but it was so frustrating tyring to get things to look right that I gave up. After playing with it for hours it became to much like work...:)

I have a JG 53 109f4  and 2 G-2s waiting (JG53 desert camo and Black 8 for Furball)

There's a rerun of the Battle of Britain coming up. They hope it can be run in AH2. I fthats the case there will be plenty of spit 1 / hurri 1 / 109e4 / Ju87 / Ju88 work....

A skin for each squadron :)

Maybe you wont be so burned out to do a JG 26 109E? :p

The two yaks are very nice and I for one would welcome them as skin options......... although there should be no panel lines or rivit lines out side the wing routes on the wings. The inner white wing light was only present on YaK1's and Yak 7's IIRC.

IMO Dolgushins La7 is poorly rendered...........

There were no such rivit and panel lines along the wing as shown here..... (its a wooden wing!)

The cockipit side panel was aonly just discernable and certainly not so pronounced or surrounded by rivits......... its was bonded and screwed to the wooden fuselage behind it.

The exhaust heat shield is wrong...even a look at the Osprey books will tell you this.

Cannon orifices are missing.

Medal of honour emblem is missing

The pockets in the dural aileron construction were not so easily visible thru  the outer skin.

For VVS panel lines I would reccomend  "Soviet Airforce fighter colours 1941- 1945" by Erik Pilawskii ISBN 1 903223 30 X

Tilt .. i've got the book you've mentioned yesterday by amazon. There are some better templates in there, such as the wooden wing and rivets issue. By the end it depends on what template you work on and there are so many with so many differeces. The book you've mentioned is certainly a reference for russian planes.

The issue on rivets, medal and canons are allready fixed. What you've seen on the screenshot was a preview. The exhaust panel is a pain do correctly.

But what do you mean with poorly rendered ? Do you mean the aircraft model it self ?
