I am not sure if the transition shapes used for the land / sea interfaces are the same as used for various types of land/land interface.
At first glance it looks like it is.........
Is any work planned to make the various land / sea transition shapes and shadings more realistic.
I think a beach/mud interface is required or at least some form of "feathering" at the interface to blurr the contrasting transistion over lay.
This was incorporated in to AH1 tile system and whilst AH2 tile/transition gives more variety across the various land/land transitions it appears (presently) somewhat visually lacking at the sea/land interface.
