Once upon a time this story would be the crime of the decade, today it's just another gruesome crime. I hate to think what things will be like in another 50 years.

Because it reinforces my belief that the Death penalty for such crimes is the right thing to do and to stimulate conversations regarding the death penalty.

This one? To ask why you posted what you did. Usually the stuff you post is well...less gruesome and worth a read.

Just seemed...I dunno, kind of gratuitious: 'Here's a horrific incident, let me share it with you'.

It's no biggie, free speech and all that sort of thing, but the initial disgust at reading the article prompted my reply.

Baltimore Child Decapitated, Two Others Found Slain

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A woman arrived home to find a child decapitated and two others with their heads partially cut off in a Baltimore apartment on Thursday evening, police said.

Police said the victims were two 9-year-old girls and a 10-year-old boy. One child was fully decapitated and two were partially decapitated, according to local news reports.

Police said at least two of the children were related.

"I've been around for about 35 years. ... I've not seen anything as gruesome as this. ... One of the saddest things I've ever seen and unfortunately something I'm sure I'll remember till I draw my last breath," Deputy Police Commissioner Kenneth Blackwell told local news media.

Baltimore Mayor Martin O'Malley, who visited the scene, called it a "brutal, tragic, unfathomably sad murder of three young children."

Blackwell said a "person of interest" was being questioned in the case.

"We do understand... that there was some sort of disagreement with the individual that we're talking with now," Blackwell said.

Police said the man had not been arrested and they had not filed charges against the man who was found a few blocks away. There was no word on what relationship the man had to the family, local news reports said.

The Baltimore Sun quoted Blackwell as saying investigators recovered a weapon from outside the apartment, but he would not elaborate on the type of weapon or where exactly it was found.

Only 28 countries use the capital punishment, that tells something about it's acceptance. In this case I would gladly see the ones who did this to be beheaded. The problem is not the the punishment, but the non guilty ones that will be wrongfully executed. Also an issue is where to draw the line?

Point is damned if you do, damned if you dont. Either you fight or you dont. Rather than live a wussified liberal type life, I would rather certain bad people were simply and without vengence or pain, eliminated. Rapists, child molestors and those that kill without lawful justification (ie self defense).

We got rules. play by the games rules or get removed. Simple eh, but all too often convoluted and discombobulated by liberal wussies.

Damn....

If you have a sexual intercourse with a female and she later accuses you of rape, there's a big change you will be convicted. If you kill someone for self defence and for some reason you can't prove it you will be convicted. Therefore there will be innocent people executed, that's about the only reason I'm against it.
