Yok ES100 is my recommendation too. Have a set on the S2000...not quite as sticky as the original Bridgestone S-02, but alot cheaper for street driving.

I like cheaper since I just can't seem to get more than 8-10k miles out of a set of rear tires before they are corded. I dunno, maybe I drive to aggressively...naaaah.

Shop for anything decent on sale.

Last year I put 4 Goodyear Aquatreads on my Ford Aerostar, with an alignment, ballancing, old tire disposal, etc for $252.

I have been known to kill a tire or two.

Dunlops are a very good comprimise. Soft enough for traction and if you drive hard they last about as long as the hard tires. Goodyears turn into funeral pyres on the back of my cars.. Goodrich is ok.

I finally got the Kumhos out on some twisties tonight. There were too many deer out so I took it easy, but I still was able to lean on them in a few spots. I'm pretty impressed. They aren't as much of a dropoff from the PZeros as I expected. Definitely better than the Potenza RE92's the car came with. Makes me wonder if they will last very long. But damn, for $70 each mounted & balanced, they rock.
