My New Toy......
« on: May 28, 2004, 04:51:57 PM »
Been wanting one of these for about 10 years now. I either never had the money when I could get one at a good price or there werent any available when I had the money. This one was pre-ban and has the nice H&K distribution stamp on it as well.

$600.

It was a trade in. I would rate overall condition to be about 90-95%. From what I can tell it has been shot but it hasnt been shot much. The bolt assembly/ chamber area shows little signs of wear. The rails on the bolt are ligth black and just short of starting to polish. The corresponding rails in the reciver are not showing any wear. Cosmeticaly the finish is good and uniform throughout cept for a small one inch scratch on the reciever.

Now I am debating on getting a USP 45c or a USP 40 full size. I already have a USP 45 full size. Either way I go I'll still be out about $750.

Decisions, Decisions.

I have the USP 40 full size, and without a doubt, it is probably the best pistol I have ever shot.
I regret doing business with TD Computer Systems.

Shooting somebody with it is the last option available to me after all else fails. Of course if a BG is running at me with a weapon there isnt going to be much room/ time for small talk.

As far as usage I will use it for home defense, general recreational shooting, and the occasional ax substitute.

Remember, guns kill people who hate guns.  Now get out there and start shooting.

Guns don't kill people, the BULLETS do!
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

Its funny, I had an old car that I put a bumper sticker on. It was short and sweet and to the point. It never failed, seemed like every few times I would go to the store to get milk and bread. I'm about to get in my car and up comes random senior citizens who would happen by, read my bumper sticker, then want to have a political discussion on how true to the point it was. All it said was:

Guns dont kill people.
People Kill People.

All I wanted to do was go home and have a peanut butter and jelly samich with a cold glass of milk.
