36: bombed trees, tigers, jugs and mossie trim
« on: May 29, 2004, 07:01:43 PM »
trees:
tiger hiding under trees was bombed today. Although having several bombs landing with it sitting inside the crater it seemed to take no damage (turret gun and MG were still firing, no smoke).
the craters were drawn ontop of the trees which perhaps indicate that the bombs are expoloding on the treetop and gv's under them take no damage.

Strifing didn't work either. perhaps HTC want trees to block projectiles, but surely not bombs.

jugs:
strifing a tiger with a P47D25. the tiger hitting with the pintle gun exploded the P47 before it even reached 400 yards from the tiger. And it wan't a pilot headshot -  fuel, oil,  and I think some control surface (not sure about that one) were destroyed. The D25 at least, is very fragile.

mossie:
combat trim does not negate a slight roll to the right (no wep).

Tigers can take a whole lotta damage sometimes, and others 1 ping from an ack can kill it.

It does seem like p47s are catching on fire very easily.
