Pyro I think what he's asking is for full screen mode option being available in films. With that you could do "gun camera" films like his examples.

I would LOVE to take a crack at that type of film !!

Thanks for the interest !!

When you enter the game it'self, you can click the the film button.  Okay right now in AH1 if you play the movie in that mode you get it's play back with the recorded views. Where ever you have had your head postion in your film it follows that.  With the Film Viewer program that comes with AH1 you can click a button that ingnores these views so you can manipulate the views.  What I am asking for is that being able to "ignore the views" In the game movie viewer so it will play at full screen. Using Fraps you can make better movies than you can with the in the game movie viewer than you can with the film viewer.   I even thought about doing something for HTC with it.  I hope this clears it up a little...

Thank you for the time to listen Pyro.

There are some real issues with the AH film viewer, asside from its numerous little nuances (umm well BUGS heheeh), it encodes very slowly at higher resolutions, and since you have to make the views 'on the fly' while recording, this makes the larger sized captures have very jerky quick camera moves.....or awkwardly slow camera pans....

Im not complaining...Im happy I have something to record with....I can just do so much more if given just a bit more in the film viewer:D

I stand by my spelling :rofl

Thanks...seems like an older flash file got backup up...bad part is I havent done a backup in 3 months

The combathangEr is however intentional.  I also own combathangAr now...but at the time I made the site it was not immediately available.  So all the logowork was done with the E.  Eventually it actually became part of my business cards:

Worst part is, about half the time I get work done or have the site published on websites they mispell it, and the link from the A site isnt working perfectly yet.

I currently dont host other peoples movies.  My site currently varries between 20 and 60 gigs a month in transfers....It really doesnt take that much to reach 50 gigs when the files are 20-80 megs each:eek:   That cost the modest sum of $20/month, and since its just a hobby site, I cant seem to convince the wife I need to spen more one it!

However, as you can see its pretty cheap to host a site.  My host is HOSTFORWEB.COM and they have packages starting at $5 for ultra cheap but very low bandwidth, with a very good package for $10/month.   It includes some very nice script support and the best damned support I have ever seen for a host.  Spend $10 to register a domain and $10/month and you can have a great place for all your stuff!

Its all done as total bits....upstream and downstream...bandwidth is bandwidth...no matter how its accessed.

Good news is 50-80 gigs is a LOT of data.   Even the month after the con when Dale showed us AH2, I made a video of him doing the demo...it was the only one on the planet...and it took 3 days to hit 50 gigs...and another 2 weeks to hit another 30 gigs.  All that was with links from many very popular sites....hell I still get 50 downloads a month of that movie...even though AH2 is here and I dont have a link on the site...you have to know the URL!!!

Not to beat this into the dirt, but this is what I am talking about...

Using this to view your films, but...

having this option in that viewer

This will give you a better res to record movies with... Using Fraps you can change that res to 640 x 480 and make better quality movies.    When the launch of AH2 comes out I will make one for you guys to show you what I am talking about...
