sorry... eagler.. but I don't agree with ya on this.
I think the way it is allows all of the planes to be flown and tested.
Come on now and fess up.. You just want your zero.... where you dont have to fight ponys and tempests and spit 14's...  javascript:smilie(':aok')
However.. I would like to see only 2 countries instead of 3.:aok

eta32 it is the 109f, get it right :)

actually got the idea from the beta test we are conducting at work for voice over IP on our cable plant. The beta testers are given 4 tests which change daily so they do not feel overwhelmed and the results are more concentrated on a particular issue

just a  suggest I threw out as I had not seen it mentioned b4

I hate rolling plane sets and when they went to that in the old Warbirds 2.0 days I stoped playing for over half the month, it killed the game for me.

I do NOT want to see it in AH.

I am hoping the TOD, will be a way to have a historic plane set that does not suck.

I love the fuel burn rate of 2.0 though.

Just a thought...but how about 3 rolling plane sets with the sets overlapping in TWO main arenas?

Set 1:  Planes from 1939-41
Set 2:  Planes from 1941-43
Set 3:  Planes from 1943-45

Main Arena 1:  Sets 1 and 2
Main Arena 2:  Sets 2 and 3

Don't know if that makes any sense or not.  But the CT could become Main Arena 2...and it might help the overcrowding in the MA without depriving anyone of their favorite rides.

Just a suggestion.

People can go do that in wbs..... Theres good evidence that since wbs has only around 70 folks on during prime time (the AH ct even less then that) that AH2 (even beta) with an rps would be empty.

The most I have seen in the AH2 with a full plane set (even most perks) is 73.

So its good bet it would be empty.

I could be wrong but I dont think HT is going to test it for us.

CT arena .... not rps. An AHII CT arena wouldn't be empty. Of course, it wouldn't be as full as the "gimme my fav uber ride" arena. But it wouldn't be empty. If you still flew the CT and read the buffer text you'd know that. :D

Also left WB due to RPS - was in an F4u squad - had nothing to fly for first 10 days or so.

Be even worse now  - no hellcat for way too long

Can't undertsand why they persisted with it over at WB. They basically turned the entire game into the CT. CT is great , but clearly not for everyone ( and all the time) - it seems to attract 5-10% of the player base.

then it would be empty

Was my reply to Eagler

I was talking about an rps..... the CT still pulls 7% or so of the main on average last time I bothered to check.

I assume it would do about the same in AH2, atleast until ToD.

I have no interest in the CT so I dunno know what gets talked about on the text buffer. As a matter of fact I dont even have AH1 on my hard drive since Kurland ended.

I would love to see a floating perk point system like WBs had for scoring. It based the score value off of the number of sorties flown (or # of kills, can't quite remember) of each plane, so the most-flown planes scored fewer points for a kill over the less often flown planes and the less flown planes reaped large bonuses to their kills over the more popular planes. Kind of like our current perk system but without the set in stone perk values assigned to the planes.

Oh, and will the perk values remain the same in AH2 or will there be an update to the numbers?
