Ever since Grun has been a member of this board, I've been something of an involuntary adjunct member by proxy (thrice removed) and I've always told myself I wouldn't start posting. In fact, for about three solid years (2000-2003), I could barely even stand the sight of this place. You see, Grun would always show up behind me when I was sitting at the computer and ever so gently instruct me to "check the message board" for new responses to his posts. (He's probably chuckling at the memory as he reads this). Then, of course, I would have to stop what I was doing, go to the board, let him read his messages, and wait while he composed his replies, cringing at every egregious affront to the rules of the English language (and often to common sense) along the way. But I stayed quiet nevertheless.
So why am I posting now?
Well, I've been living away from Grun since September and I find myself checking The O' Club every now and then to see what's going on. I even go here to find out news about my own brother. When he got his new camera, for example, he gave me a call that started off with the infamous "check the message board" before he would tell me anything else.
Now, in the interest of family harmony, I don't really intend to keep posting (the temptation is there, but the marginal benefits don't quite outweigh the costs), but I will answer a couple of (appropriate) questions (this excludes those from people whose girlfriends have given birth within the last couple of months) because, well, this is kinda fun.
1.) He's my older brother.
2.) There is, however, a period of about a month each year during which we are the same age on paper.
That's enough for the hijack.
