Tactical Maps and Mission Planners...
« on: June 02, 2004, 02:21:49 PM »
Okay I've done some messing around to make a tactical map/mission planner book for all the countries.  Basically what all this will encompass is a basic mission planner with a group tier referrence.  It will also have each tier of airplanes ect... broken out for exact references for fuel, arm, ord and area of responsibility.  Here's just a basic example of one of the tactical maps for the fields themselves.  What I'm doing is making this and printing them out.  I laminate them and place them in a binder.  From there I can write down any info I need for any and all targets in a mission using a dry erase pen.  Not sure they'll be used but I figured if I can help try to get better organized missions going then I'll do anything to help this along.

I will also be making basic grid maps for each and every field blown up for visual inspection.  This way even the GV guys can get in on some tactical assualt planning using these.  This will also allow folks to help others with quick referrences of where to place their bombs.  They can just say for this area hit grid referrence A.5 2.5 to take down X amount of buildings with 1 XXX lb bomb/rocket ect...
