Same here. I rarely pull hard enough to black out.. Tunnel vision, yeah. But never blackout.

I've only blacked out once and it was recent.  Couldn't figure out how some of these yank-n-bank guys could pull such tight turns in the same planes that I couldn't do.  Usually fly with the "tunnel" effect but this particular time decided to just pull the stick all the way back into blackout and hold it for 3-4 seconds before releasing thinking I'd do about a 180 and be on the guys tail.  Doh!!  Totally blacked out for what seemed like an eternity and got shot down.  Back to square one.  Glad to see that this is being implement though as I think it will dampen these guys from abusing the black mode.

When you pull back on the stick you are creating pos Gs when you push forward no the stick you are creating neg Gs.

Umm aren't you still creating negative gs regardless of whether or not you are inverted or not by pushing forward?   One pushes the blood to your brain (redout). One pushes the blood down to your legs. (blackout/tunnel vision).  It's a matter of which way you are forcing the blood compared to what direction the airframe is moving.

If you rolled out 90 degrees and pushed forward you are still forcing blood up to the brain thus creating negative gs.  If you pulled you'd be forcing it to your legs thus creating positive gs.  Couldn't you kind of relate this to getting up to fast from your seat.  If ya notice you never get light headed when you sit down it's always when you stand up quickly.

Your attitude in relation to the ground is irrelevant. Positive G is that which loads your body into the seat. Negative G is that which jams your shoulders into the harness.

This new blackout model won't change a thing(relatively)...the ham-handed pilots will blackout no matter what they fly,and the people with a light touch on the stick won't.

It won't matter what plane you are in.

I haven't found it much of a problem as I've said before but those who usually yank the stick in blackout for quick timed reverse are in for a surprise. I think it will help to level the playing field so to speak.

Of course I actually like to fight, low, down and dirty so when I do blackout I'm either gonna hit the ground or get shot before I come out of it. At least that's what has happened the few times I did blackout.

I still havent really noticed a change,  i can still pull a mean turn and not go into total blackout..  There is a trick to not blacking out fully if your going to yank and bank,  still works in AH2.

And its not taking it easy on the stick ;)
