LONDON (Reuters) - Britain's computer operated air traffic control system is not operating today, British Airways says.

All flights from London's Heathrow airport have been suspended until further notice due to the failure, a Reuters reporter at the airport said on Thursday. "There has just been an announcement that there will be a delay of at least two hours," he said.

"The computers at Swanick air traffic control have gone down. We understand they (air traffic control) are operating manually," a spokeswoman at British Airways said.

oops obviously the Labour Governments plan for privatisation is not going to plan.......I'll bet there's a major panic going on at No 10 as they try to get someone to volunteer to be interrogated on the news tonight - you guys have NO idea how much British journalists hate politicians - it's going to be good!

"NOthing can go wrong.......go wrong.......go wrong.......go wrong.......go wrong.......go wrong.......go wrong"
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!
