You can buy both the luger and p38 from WWII stores right now for maybe 700 and 400 respectively.   condition good to very good.

I've seen some nice E German P-38 police pistols on the market lately at a good price too. Problem is actually "household 6". She has a point of sorts..the safe is full. Gotta save up for a bigger one before I can realistically get away with anything else.

My brother's father in law was a AAA gunner in the wehrmacht.
After being wounded on D-Day , he was sent home
to heal.  After war's end he was given to the russians by the US
and spent 5 years in Siberia building bridges.

     He says he still has his luger in his attic somewhere, I'd just
like to buy it to keep it in the family.  He has a grandson, and I
imagine little Mike would be interested in his grandfather's
stuff :)

     Besides, i already own a Colt .45 ;)

Um... I guess I can understand where youre coming from.

You ever shot one?  Nothing feels better - the Luger is the only pistol that 'points' better than the 1911, IMO.
