The Jug "D-40" is actually a typo, right? Or, did HTC actually change the modelling of the D-30 in AH2?

Pyro said it was always a d40 but mis-named in AH1.

Its now corrected for AH2.....

Someone in AH2 noted last night that they were getting more MP from the "new" Jug.

Any truth to that?

No, i'm just brain-dead today. Besides, if I bait anymore hooks, Skuzzy will ban me again. (sigh)

If the Jug has more power, I'm happy. I always thought it felt underpowered -- judging by Robert Johnson's unbiased *snicker* descriptions of his "D-model."

No hook, no bait, not my "style". Yes they meant manifold pressure too

I heard somewhere (I cannot substantiate either way) that the AH P47 does not have the paddle-bladed prop modeled, it has the more comon version of the 4-blade, like the one used on the Mustang.

Any truth to that?

D-11 lacks the paddle bladed prop. I'm pretty sure the D-25 and D-40 have it though.

The Paddle blade was better for high altitude, but for low alt missions, the tooth pick was better and some crew chiefs reverted the to tooth pick at the end of the war, where their pilot was mainly going jabo. (Where the heck did I read that?)
