Best Immersion Experience Yet....
« on: January 05, 2000, 08:57:00 AM »
I flew for the first timein weeks last nite.
Due to a busy real life schedule and not because I was tired of flying.
Well the changes in the last few release
are stunning.
What has been replayed in my mind over and over since last night was simply my kill over
a Spit at 20k where I watched him slowly spiral down trailing smoke till he impacted.
I was simply slack jawed. It looked so codamned real..

Thanks for this great sim Hitech Creation folks!

I love it when the wing folds up and hangs on, but as the terminal dive gets steeper it finally detaches and the rest of the plane increases flame and smoke until it finally crashes.

Anyways that is how someone explained to me how I looked a few nights ago!

Damn Ghostrider!  This bogey is all over me!!
Rock:  Ya see that Ensign, lighting the cigarette?
Powell: Yes Rock.
Rock: Well that's where I got it, he's my son.
Powell: Really Rock, well I'd like to meet him.
Rock:  No ya wouldn't.

...or watching the sunlight flash off the wings as they tumble down.  This is great stuff, HT.

I downloaded the game a couple of weeks ago and was amazed at the detail in the graphics.  I play AWIII and the graphics here appear much more realistic yet don't seem to tax my machine anywhere near what AWIII does.  I flew on line for the first time last night, this is a blast!  I even managed to get some kills.
