Historic skins.
« on: June 05, 2004, 04:12:54 AM »
Hello all...

I am making a green P38 skin. Was wondering if some one can give me a few pointers as to where I can find pics of some historic green P38s. Any info on the pics would also be great.

Thanks in advance.

Try "The Mighty Eighth in Color" by Roger Freeman.  Jeffery Ethell also has a color book, but I can't remember the name.

I apperciate your attempt, but you may want to wait untill the P38 has been reworked by HTC, as the skin currently is, there are numerious problems with hard coded art in the plane that complicates a skin change many of the AC in AHII are still in thier AHI art incarnations and have yet to be reworked   But by all means continue with prep work and read the TOD fourm for hints in skining.  Sadly I have little or no talent as an artist and I think the world of artists who are contributing to the community.
