« on: June 05, 2004, 02:53:31 PM »
Quick question. Alot of people are spreading the rumor that Ah2 will cost more money then AH1. I was just wondering if this could be cleared up. Thankyou kindly. BlueJ

I have not seen ANYTHING that mentions a higher cost.
AW - AH Pilot 199? - 200?

Sounds like somebody trying to yank people's chains.  There's no plans for a pricing change.

Rafe35, wouldn't you be gladder if the price was less?

I thought there was going to be a $9.95 option where you would have to pull a banner behind your plane that advertised Aces High T-shirts for sale.  Later this option would go to Free once HT starts selling advertising space to the Corporate World:

"Eat at Joe's.  Mention this ad and get a free appetizer!"

Of course there would be a "small" drag penalty associated with the banner -- they want to make sure everyone has time to read it.  Maybe HT could add a new plane -- the armor-plated banner tug. :aok

I beleive that much of this has come from the vauge answers we have gotten revolving around AH2 and AH2 Tour of Duty.  They are being done as two seperate arenas and HT has said they will be two diferent games with seperate subscriptions and was unclear as to any discount for having both.

To the best of my understanding:

AH2 will be $14.95

TOD will be $14.95

having both MAY be discounted (like $20 or $25 for both) but no firm decisions had been made on that issue last I heard.

Can you point us to the thread that says this??? From day one all I ever heard was that it would be a 'new arena' for mission based play but nothing about separate subscriptions...

I mean from Pyro above: There's no plans for a pricing change.

HTC has consistently been extraordinarily clear about no price change.

I've have never read anything, anywhere by anyone at HTC that could lead anyone to even think that they might be thinking of perhaps, maybe, possibly considering changing their consistent comments that they have no plans to change the price structure.

They have said over and over and over and over and over and over that there are no plans to change the price structure.

I think I'll go back to bed.
