Port Magic
« on: June 09, 2004, 01:43:45 PM »
I recently installed a router so I could run both PC's off my cable connection.

Shortly thereafter, I found a program called "Port Magic" provided by AOL running.

If I don't exit this program, I can't get a connection to AH 1 or 2.

Any problem with blowing this program away?

Forgotten, but back in the game.  :)

I am not aware of what that program does.  Might want to check with AOL to see if it is needed.

All port magic does is basicly logs into your router, and opens ports needed for that certain program to run for you.
