Ship Guns Pan View

In AH1 to see where the ship guns were hitting we used Land Mode, Zoomed in all the way, and used Pan View (F8) to lower the view to see the target. Then if we needed to raise or lower the gun trajectory a bit, we could see the amount of adjustment by how far up or down the target moved.

In AH2, when you go to Land Mode the view snaps to the horizon instead of the line of sight as in AH1. Now when we raise or lower the gun, the cross hair moves but the horizon is stationary. Since the cross hair is above the view window, there is no way of judging how far up or down you're moving the guns.

Although this new way of handling the view in Land Mode circumvents the need for Pan View, it makes gunnery more difficult.

Very annoying. The clipboard won't stay to the left of the screen where I move it because of the list that pops out in the hanger. The list pops out to the left and moves the clipboard back to center. Why have the popout instead of placing the list over the map like in AH1? If not, how about putting the popout on the right side?

talked to HiTech online the other day....

i would like the clip to expand to the right also because i like to bring up the clip in flight and i keep in on the left.

he said it would be a very diffucult thing to change

looks like it's going to stay expanding to the left.

It's really a pesky thing. I'm wondering why a pop out is even needed. But it's HT's game and he's the boss... not that we can't give him **** about it at each opportunity  >=o)

 I, for one, absolutely HATE the new clipboard.

 The freaking area to grab & move it is WAY the
 freaking small. The usefull information area is
 also WAY to freaking small given the size of the
 clipboard vs the remaining fixed format area
 ( the list of options at the bottom ).

 The flip out thingie is a freaking NUISANCE of
 the fisrt order. It's a royal PITA when in the
 hangar.

 WTF did we need a new clipboard in the first
 place? The old one worked just fime...

 BTW, did I mention I also HATE change?? It
 gets worse every year for some reason
