I am getting that error message. Checked in my DX9 files, and found the DirectPlay8 files were missing or corrupted. I tried reinstalling DX9, but this did not fix the problem. So, I have done alot of searching for help. I came across this:

The bad news I got, was that AH2 still wont run. Worked great until patch 35. There is also word that PCI cards may not run AH2, but they are not sure about that yet. Sucks finding out a week before it goes live ya cant play. Looks like a new card is in my future.
