TO: HiTech Creations.... THANK YOU for the value and fun I have received at no charge to date. I feel your online simulation is worth the money. I will be happy to be among your first paying customers at your suggested price of $29.95 per month whenever you decide. TO:All Aces High Pilots ....(It's really that simple guys.... some of these posts are almost comical .. you either will or you won't) No problem either way! Thats how free enterprise works! For me....an AW junky for 3+ years, the $30.00 is nothing more than packing a lunch or 5 a month, drinking cheap beer when friends are over.....<I like that one> or cancelling the extra premier channels on cable TV.  The later being my first choice.
The more I play AH, the less TV I watch!
  Westy and I chat in AW often, and I won't leave AW for AH, I will just merge them into my schedule.  At 51 years of age, I can do that!  I am prolly going to have to get a job soon too.  If you like it and want it bad enough, there will be a way to play-even 2 or 3 times a month.  I play AW3- 4 or 5 times a month. AH is a great sim with promise.  I am in and I wish them the very best.

Hey there fallen
was just thinking punk rock icons DK's(jello)to be precise.had a chance to see him at a spoken word in the summer.the $$$$"PRICE"to see this man speacking against capitalism et al,was $25.00(ADVANCE)and I believe(if it wasn't sold out)$30.00 at the door to the hall(convention center)so your saying he made none of that money????   SUUUUUURE
also in the begining the sexpistols recorded for say $50.00 then they became punk rock icons and started selling everything from records to movie rights about themselves, also there touring again, last I heard they charge around $15-35.00 a head at concerts.hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm me thinks we better look a little more carefully at that whole concept of yours .

ps,your an anarchist aren't you?vegan as well?

I think the cost is a little high.  Consider this.  Fighter Ace II is only $9.95/mo.  Fixed cost and unlimited play!  There is a historical fight this Sunday that already has over 650 pilots registered to fly.  I think you could attract gobs more people if you reduced the price.

Air Warrior Classic, AW3 and gobs of games are available at gamestorm.com.
It costs $9.95 a month too.  When I started AW Classic, it was $2.00 an hour. Others paid even more.  Air Warrior and Gamestorm reduced their original price from $49.95-I think....or $39.95.  Most nights there are over 800 folks flying AW3.  650 is a fair night there.  Give this SIM a chance to grow and become a competitor.  Air Warrior is over 10 years old.  AH  is less than 4 months old.
   I have never played Warbirds on-line....but then I never felt that sim was worth the effort or expense.  Also the people and attitudes played a role in that decision.  They are here too, but there seems to be more community spirit.   Don't give up-yet.  Enjoy it for what it is.......FUN!

gobs = goobs.

Just peek in the FA II nntp newsgroup to see what I mean. Just poke your head into RRE1
in AW3 to know what I mean.

No offense to those who do hold a higher standard in each sim but for the behavior of the vast majority in each of those two sims has me feeling no qualms at all about coughing up $29.95.

I would miss flying with folks like KKen very much.....

It amazes me to some extent, the length of this thread.  $30 a month IMO is almost free.

I guy told me a once, "If you can't afford to buy Golf balls, then don't play Golf"

Yeah Westy your probably right.  I'm sure that it would be much better to have only a handfull of paying customers that aren't goobs.  Of course then this game wouldn't succeed because you can't make money that way.  We'll see how many hang on after it's pay-to-play.  It's real easy to say "Oh $29.95 is practically free" when you aren't even having to pay yet.

Oh well time will tell.
