I would think a term with JV44 should become a whole lot more attractive now that 1.08 will be adding their historic primary ride.
You usually see perk planes one at a time; seeing a schwarm from Jv44 in their 262s winging around the arena is going to be quite a sight.     Lotta perk points at stake there!

Thot there was only two of em and they flew spitfires?  Looks like Gallan got what he wanted in AH at least..   a squadron of spitfires.

Well, if you want to get technical...  :) the historically equivalent unit we represent is the JV44 Airfield Protection Flight. They flew 190D9s and protected the jets during takeoff and landing. However, we're flexible in the MA, so it's possible  :).

Not that I'm particularly surprised, but what you "thot" has no correspondence with reality.

I see lazs still has the education of a first grader WTFG there.  At any rate we are recruiting 2 more pilots and when the 262 comes out should be interesting.  The main ride of JV44 Platzschutzstaffel was 3 souped up D-9 and a D-13.

We fly for the knights and we are looking for 2 more pilots to fill the ranks.

No, yes, and no. While I am sure that all readers with be extremely impressed with your demonstration of basic arithmetic, if you had followed the initial link you would have seen that we currently have 4 members and are looking for 2 more.

Percentage of JV44 Kills this Tour (Kills in/Deaths in)
------------------------------------------------------------
Spitfire: 1.4% / 1.8%
N1K2: 11.8% / 8.3%
All LW fighters: 34.0% / 29.1%

I did not bother to take GV and bomber kills/deaths out of the totals. But the above should give an idea of the soundness of the comments of previous posters. We're hardly becoming a squadron of Spits and N1Ks.

Ok.. so I left out a couple of guys (but I didn't think u would claim ol strumie) and I forgot to add that u fly niks too..  so sue me.

I was thinking... for 1.08, if you are in a (LOL) "historical" squad then maybe they could change it so that any kills that you got in "non-historical" planes would not count for your score or show up in the kill buffer?  or maybe you would just have to remove a couple of "humpemoftennobbonpolishens" from in front of ur handle?

fun squads don't need to recruit.

[something stupid]

Nevermind - and I had my hopes up and everything.

None of us is interested in flying one aircraft tours on end. Who would be? Sounds like a bore to me.

hey, i watched/participated in  you guys slaughter in spits so am surprised at how low your death % in spits is.   It's only about twice as many as the average player.

and no... won't be joining.  please stop sending all the applications.

Punt!  I flew with these guys in the TOD and they have a real good grasp on section/element tactics.  Nice guys too.  Definitely a "fun squad".  I'm not sure what Lazs is on about.
