Rumors Abound
« on: June 08, 2004, 12:04:21 AM »
A couple members of my squad have apparently heard that there is going to be a price increase of seven dollars a month once the transition to AH2 is complete, can anyone confirm or refute this? Also there is a rumor that the perk points from AH1 are Not going to transfer over to the new game :(  I would hate to loose all those really valuable bomber perks I have been saving up

Sounds like somebody trying to yank people's chains. There's no plans for a pricing change.

Another incorrect rumour.  All information like perks points, squad affiliation etc will apparently carry over to AH2, so don't worry!   :aok

Thanks guys! I was worried there for a minute as I have a hard enough time convincing my wife that 14.95 is best spent on AH... It cuts into my beer money enough as it is.

If $20.00 a month makes or breaks you then playing AH may not be a good idea, better spend those flight sim hours instead at school or working a second job...

Even at $19.95 AH would be a good value for the dollar...

bull****.

"The most damning verdict of all on American policy came from General Smedley D. Butler, the most decorated marine of his generation... 'I helped make Haiti and Cuba a decent place for the National City Bank boys to collect revenues in. I helped in the raping of half a dozen Central American republics for the benefit of Wall Street. The record of racketeerign is long.  I helped purify Nicaragua for the international banking house of Brown Brothers in 1909-1912. I brought light to the Dominican Republic for American sugar interests in 1916. I helped make Honduras "right" for American fruit companies in 1903...Looking back on it, I feel I might have given Al Capone a few hints. The best he  could do was to operate his racket in three city districts. We Marines operated on three continents.

If I want to hear people making political rants, I'll turn on AM radio, not come to the AH2 forum.  This needs to stop now.

Stopped. I'll take this up in the O'Club.
Rage got the better of me.

Small request then. If we can't take umbrage with a signature that is blatantly political can we cease and desist with the signatures that are likely to provoke a political debate?

I'm self employed, FYI. I'm an actor, and I blow glass. Given that i only work once or twice a year on films and blow glass in the mean time, yeah 14.95 is alot sometimes. Royalty checks don't exactly flow in, fan mail from wierdos does though

Was gonna say I bet you get a lot of fan mail from glass, but it would only be a joke, so I won't.   When did glass start flying ah anyway?;)
