Dogfighting last night I unloaded a full burst of Cannon fire into the underside of a KI61. Saw many hit sprites then the left wing initially disappeared (no debris falling away) and the KI61 went out of control. Then the "outline" of the left wing reappeared and as I followed the plane down, the plane appeared to right itself and fly normally (wings level towards the ground, no perceptable spin), at that point the left wing "reappeared" on my display. The pilot bailed though, so I am certain that the wing was indeed shot away.
