Is this true that all the bish get the people that first start playing? If it is isnt that kinda unfair. I think they should be spread out cause other countries like rooks and nits. Get plenty of easy kills. Like yesturday i saw i guy it was his 2nd day he cept upping on a capped field. Not knowing thta he is giving you guys free kills i tried to tell him to stop he acted like he couldnt hear me. I think the newbs should be spread around randomly that would be nice.

Im pretty sure default is bish. Knights have quite a few too and rooks have their fair share as well. Dunno how that distribution goes. I am pretty sure Bish do get the bulk of the new players tho. Maybe bish just recruit all the newbs:p

Country affiliation for new accounts is at least rotated if not entirely random. When I joined AH with my Zazen account I defaulted Knights. When my wife joined she defaulted Rooks. Not sure how it works exactly, whether it's entirely random or determined by someone at HTC every so often, but rest assured all newbies do not default start as Bishops. They must just go there after they learn how to switch countries themselves...

I agree that it does seem that the new players seem to default to Bishops more than Rooks or Knights, however that may just be my perception.

Whether or not it rotates, I don't know.

Your idea is not new, and has been visited before on the BBS, but it is a good one nonetheless.

HT has said on multiple occasions that new subscriptions are assigned on a rotation basis.

Every country has their fair share of new guys. These days when I find myself constantly killing the same guy I'll often message him privately and start chatting.

Only thing about new guys is the way some people treat them on Ch1. I know they should read the manual and try out in the training room before hand. But does it really matter?

With every new guys question and seeing the same answer Alt-F4 that joke is really old and boring now.

I've thought of doing the training thing for new guys but I'm just not on often enough and at regular times to be of help.
