Yeah there's no going back to the WB cockpits once you've done AH for a while.
It's not only the superb cocpits. Loadouts and their modeling, generally FM's are quite good for my taste.
For me the most glaring difference is the ground. The WB ground textures are pitiful, and the terrain is very "pointy" and lacks subtle contours. The textures are in particular annoying because they are not nearly as helpful for NOE flying as in AH.
This one is also big issue. Ground looks much better and it is easier to judge your alt in low flying just by looking the texture details. Of course we need detailed terrain since the tanks will be in the game shortly! I can hardly contain myself!
However, the WB icons are still much better than the God-awful 200-foot flying neon billboards in this game...
Yep... icons are otherwise quite ok but when the range is indicated in three digits (666 for example) it is very difficult to judge the closure rate because all the numbers change so fast. I'd prefer 0.x presentation.
