Now we have smoke and such.... COOL   A long waited feature!!

I just wanted to know what color of smoke stands for which damage?

And what individual plane parts can be seen falling off?

I'd like to know all this in case I damage a plane... usually I kill them once and for good

If this has been addressed somewhere, please point me there and off I go...

Thanks!!

I'm with ya combat   . I can tell you now, that white smoke appears to be fuel leakage, and black smoke either oil leakage and/or engine fire. You can make nice designs in the air now with all the different colored smoke. My B17 got shot up pretty bad last night. Fuel cells on either wing damaged and engine on starboard side was torn apart. So I have smoke from 3 different areas. Now add to that, the attacker took out rear ailerons(im no pilot), and I ended up in a flat spin. All I could do is watch the pretty designs.   lol

I know that black is oil.

I'm sure that grey is coolant, and white is fuel (or vise-versa)

What is really cool about the damage model is that there is more resolution.  You don't just simply lose both elevators, one at a time can be blasted away.
