190 A8 nose down trim not enough
« on: June 09, 2004, 11:51:32 AM »
Flew my 190 A8 at 350mph, fully trimmed down and yet the nose wanted to climb. Need to be able to trim it down more.

Same for combat trim. It pulls nose up and rolls right.

It's been that way since it was introduced to AH2. I mentioned it once to hitech in the MA and he said that the trim modeling hadn't been finished. This was about 6-8 weeks ago.

Reported the A8 trim problem twice.

There has been some change from where it was about 3 weeks ago.  However, at over 400 she really noses up because the elevator rises.

As I mostly drive the A8, am looking forward to the fix.  Other 190s are ok.  Noticed similar problem in La5.  Have heard some comment that other planes may have this problem.  Seems to happen at dive speeds over 400.

I didnt notice the problem in a8 with manual elevator trim ... going to test it.

I ONLY use manual trim and I have it even at 350mph, noticed it last night when I was doing 350mph TAS at the deck after a short dive, trim was manually fully forward to make the nose go down but still it wanted to go nose up.

Glad I got many replies on this one!
