Depends on my mood, and how much time I have.  Also, as noted, whether I'm flying with squadies or lone-wolfing it.

All of it.. I like to fly the whole damn sim.. the Map; the furballs; the squad bit and the roaming loner are all profiles I'll fly.

Depends on my mood; the country's mood and what my squaddies are up to. In this sim; gettin out alive is a victory; gettin kills is a bonus.

Satisfaction and enjoyment is based on degree of diffculty.. the harder it is to outsmart the other side; the more gratifying it is when you accomplish it. Makes no diff if it's a furball, a 1 v 1, a vulch line, a deep strike at HQ or a field capture; gettin the mission accomplised and gettin out alive is what makes it fun for me. (and the cat)

Me?

I like to innocently head straight into a furbull.  Fly around some and act like I am trying to get on someones six.  Then I pop off a few rounds missing intentionally.

When I see that none of those 6 or 7 guys on me has any clue. I intentionly pull some bonehead manuver just to allow 4 of them to saddle up on my six.

Not sure why, but it gives me great satisfaction to know that 4 guys are all shooting at me at the same time.  The more the better, in my book.  When I am finaly get shot down I laugh to myself, "What a Bunch of Suckers!"

Really!

As Hangtime said .. getting back alive is the victory too .. sometimes I RTB with no kills and still feel satisfied because i was abble to get into a furball and out without dying (just dinnea hit anything.. happens a lot with D-Hog to me  )

If I have a wingman I focus on keeping the wingman alive.  Otherwise it's balls to the wall banzai baby!

I'm still learning lots about the flight models and gunnery in here, so I try to get as much heavy ACM and shooting time as possible.  Maybe later I will use some SA.

I like to live through a sortie...although that aint completely working out too well this ToD...

RE:furballing or grabbing alt?..
Depends what plane I'm flying.  When I was flying the Nik, I'd jump into the nearest furball.  But flying the 109, Hog and now 38..I'll take a book and grab some alt  .

Same as popeye... In the beginning of the TOD I try to stay alive for as long as possible... when I do get killed I don't give a rats bellybutton anymore and change flying and fighting style whenever I feel like it. BnZ (trying to stay alive) and TnB (getting as many kills before you die)

I just want a good fight- whatever that might be on a given night. Furball one night, lone-wolf patrol another, hopeless base defense the next. Comes in all flavors!

I wanna win the war!!

If that means I gotta TnB then I do if I need to buff hunt then I do if I need to wash dishes .....well...

I'm a TnB guy at heart but I have my nights when I'll jump into a 38 or 17 and just fly around.

Definitely a lone wolf..not good at saving a wingy..I try but not very good at it.
