« on: June 11, 2004, 11:37:08 AM »
Some long time ago when i first time seen Pistons playing i loved them... Thomas, Dumars, Aguirre, Rodman and Salley were imao by far the best NBA team i've ever seen...

It's not the same now, but my sentiment stayed there :)

GO and BEAT L.A.!!!!! BEAT L.A.!!!!! BEAT L.A.!!!! :D

Save a seat for me on that bandwagon. I'm for any team playing against the Lakers.

Too bad Detroit doesn't have a sense of humor. Maybe Jimmy got too close to the truth.

To be honest, I hope Detroit takes it to L.A. big-time.  I want to see Shaq smacked down on national television.  There's just a fitting justice to it all; watching the glamour city get its face dirtied up a bit.

The Lakers were to much in shock and awe of Ben Wallaces Afro to wage a succesful game against them.. (Big Ben opens the game with 12ft jump shot over Shaq I knew we had a beating comming)

Lakers are thru...  Detroit looked too hungry at home..  Lakers looked flat and had to contend with detroits famed defense..  Near the end of the game their will was broken...

Props to detroits coach for putting Prince on Koby using the double when he tries to drive for the Post UP..  (sacremento used this defense earlier in the year against the Lakers to great success..)

Great job of coaching.

It doesn't look good for the Lakers, but I wouldn't count them out.

Really, the Lakers are lucky to have won even one game so far, and Detroit just shut them down last night.

I take it you weren't watching the 1995 NBA Finals then?  Shaq got humiliated not once, not twice, not even thrice, but four times on national television.
