Is this something that is dealing with the appearance or is this something that is going to change the FM of wing so to speak?

I read it as normal wing trim and combat trim

Morpheus, the P38 was suffering from the same problem as the 190 A8, the planes didn't have enough down trim to keep the nose down when diving. At 350mph (190 A8) the nose, even with full trim down, wanted to go up.

Same with the P38, not sure bout the speed though.

It's FM change, not appearence change, nothing you will see in the 3D modell or so...

Flight model changes. A8 had inadvertantly received an increase in wing incidence awhile back that was causing the high speed pull-up. I made a change to the 38 awhile back to decrease the sharpness of its stall, but a different bug caused that change to only take place on the inner part of the wing and not the outer part. That combined with the bug that was found in the aileron model was causing tip stalls.

While I noticed some marked improvement, something still is not quite right. It still is not back where it was right after the roll rate typo was fixed.

Just to see how they actually compared, I flew the P-38 in AH I long enough to get seriously into the groove with it, and then went and flew the AH II version. At the same speeds and same angles of attack, I found the AH II version still had bizarre departure habits, and given the same E state entering a series of maneuvers, it bled E much faster and stalled or refused to respond earlier in the series.

I'm pretty busy right now with work, racing season is my busy season of the year, besides the fact that my wife wrecked one of my cars and blew a headgasket on the other, but when I have some free time I'm going to do some back to back filmed testing and see if there are any verifyable differences.
