Hi all,

I played lot of different games in my life, hundreds of them, but AH really do addict me. I had not been so addicted for at least couple of year. Game is just perfect, and it turns to be better with each update.

Fairz..

I agree 100%

The boys are doing an excellent job considering the amount of whining going on about the FMs..

I guess nobody remembers what Beta is about, damn sure it has nothing to do with AC at all.

I've enjoyed my encounters with both you guys... Always an aggressive fight!

I wish I'd had the camera running the other day- Fariz and I were flying down the hill from a high base (mine) and he was trying to clear the fighter cover from the field so they could bring a buff in low.

He killed my bud as I was dispatching one of his friends a bit higher. I had taken two already, so my ammo was a bit low (only had BB's left). "Ah, so what, he's a Spitfire" I thought. BB's would do.

I enter the fight, and he turns out to be a bit tougher than I figured- a lot! He'd pull his nose up, kick rudder, then split-S with an immediate pull up. Repeat. We descended from 5K to the deck in this manner, with me peppering his tail all the way down. As we near the deck I take a last look at the counter... 28 rounds left! I wait to get close- REALLY close and let him have them all. Nothing.

Now I'm screwed. I'm low fuel, no ammo, and a very irritated Spitfire is right in front of me. I seem to have the proverbial tiger by the tail. No way to break and run, no way to knock him down, no way to ditch.

So I do the only thing I can do- I follow him as close as I can in lag pursuit, mimicking every maneuver. At least he can't kill me from up there! He yo-yo's, rolls, chops throttle... I'm stuck on him like a tick on a dog's butt.

Then the moment came I dreaded; he simply leveled out. I knew this meant he'd guessed the truth, as I hadn't fired a shot in two minutes he now knew I was out of ammo. At this point I reach for the only weapon left at my disposal; I got on the radio and screamed like a girl! "Haaaaalp! HAAAAAALP! Git this guy offa me!"

At this point a bud dropped off the mountain and picked Fariz off. I just barely manage to clear the ridge and set down as the fuel is expended. Fariz pointed out how lucky I had been (I was) and I congratulated him on a good fight.

There have been many memorable fights like these. I agree, this is one fun game!

Sorry guys,

No way!  I read some the the brand "W" postings and they point out that this game sucks!

One even typed that Brand "W" was way better than AH even though they never flew AH.

So there ya have it!

Don't tell anyone, but deep down inside, I like it too!!

P.S.  Finally ran into both Minotaur and Wardog while flying the other nite.  Not good results for me!   Both of you are in BIG trouble now!!!

Rock:  Ya see that Ensign, lighting the cigarette?
Powell: Yes Rock.
Rock: Well that's where I got it, he's my son.
Powell: Really Rock, well I'd like to meet him.
Rock:  No ya wouldn't.
