Hopefully they do put him back in power. Just think of the possibilities..a whole new invasion! This could effectively *double* the US and UK's oil pilfering opportunities. I mean, let's be realistic here...1 short year just isn't quite enough time to take ALL of it, and my Blazer just guzzles the stuff. Come to think of it, this gives me double the opportunity to take a prisoner and pelt him with Nerf footballs (everybody's doing it!), I can run over twice as many cars with a tank (it's great fun!), make some "I killed his dad and knocked up his sister" signs (missed out on it last time!), and get in line TWICE for every meal at the shiny new Haliburton mess hall (expensive, but it beats the 4 months of MREs before they built it...and they reacted much too slowly to repair it the time it got mortared by freedom fighters during lunch). To top it all off, when the troops get back from the next one they can tune in to the AH BBS for an expert analysis of the whole event. Hopefully the new space man uniforms will be in the supply system by then.

Stop the War for Oil crap. It's old.

If we wanted Oil, we would have invaded Mexico, or Venezula. They're much closer, easier to mobolize against, and would not put up much of a fight.

Or better yet, why did'nt we just keep the Kuwaiti oil fields in 1991? Why not keep the wells in southern Iraq when we overan them? WHy not finish Baghdad off when we had a perfect excuse?

Why did we fight the French attempts to life oil sanctions on Iraq in the mid 1990's?
