Seems to be very patchy if vox works or not. Will be there one min, gone the next then without warning it will work again. This has ONLY been happening since 2.0

I run Norton Internet Securites 2003 and had multiple entries of aceshigh.exe in my allowed programs list. I deleted them all and reconfigured my firewall to allow AH to run. That did the trick.

I had similar problem but was related to a startup monitor and a sort of double install of my soundcard.  Got it sorted out but now have another problem :(  Please see squeling sound problem thread if your curious.
It's been said we have three brains, one cobbled on top of the next. The stem is first, the reptilian brain; then the mammalian cerebellum; finally the over developed cerebral cortex.  They don't work together in awfully good harmony - hence ax murders, mobs, and socialism.

AH2 vox has worked (mostly)fine for me for months, but last night I also had issues.   Also was haviing CTD trouble, along with a group of others, probably something in the NET or HTC's stuff - I wouldnt advise anyone go changing alot of stuff right now.  It is only second day of release, wait till next patch (ther e is always a patch soon after release historically)
