10,000lb pumpkin bombs?  How many could a b-29 carry?

<< Four 20-mm. Hispano cannon in the fuselage nose and six 0.303-in. machine-guns in the wings and one 0.303-in. Vickers "K" or Browning gun in the dorsal position. One 18-in. torpedo externally under fuselage. Eight rocket projectiles could be carried as alternative to the wing guns. >>

Beaufighter was the workhorse of RAF at mediteranean and north
afrika. If a german ship was attacked 60-70% that was with beaufighter. Also many land attacks in Aegean islands and in every german occupied beach around.

The Beaufighter Mk.21 Tronski quotes actually has 4 x 20mm and 4 x .50 cals (replacing the 6 x .303s).  It's basically an Australian built Mk.X.

Beaufigher is one of my favourite planes and would dearly love to see one especially now that they'd be more use attacking ships!
