While I noticed some marked improvement, something still is not quite right. It still is not back where it was right after the roll rate typo was fixed.
Just to see how they actually compared, I flew the P-38 in AH I long enough to get seriously into the groove with it, and then went and flew the AH II version. At the same speeds and same angles of attack, I found the AH II version still had bizarre departure habits, and given the same E state entering a series of maneuvers, it bled E much faster and stalled or refused to respond earlier in the series.
I'm pretty busy right now with work, racing season is my busy season of the year, besides the fact that my wife wrecked one of my cars and blew a headgasket on the other, but when I have some free time I'm going to do some back to back filmed testing and see if there are any verifyable differences.
