Actually in Iran there is still a good INTERNAL development to overthrow the mullah regime. Slow but steady.
The last thing we need is "help" from the USA or any other foreign nation.
We still havent forgot the last great help in the 50ties, when the USA has overthrown the democratic iranian Premier Mossadegh who had before deposed the dictator Shah Reza Pahlawi II in an unbloody revolution.
Every year after the Shah was put back to power his Gestapo-like SAVAK-intelligence service (trained by the CIA and the Mossad) killed tousands of iranian democrats until in the 70ties the situation has grown so hateful that the iranian people made a second - this time very bloody - revolution. With the damn result that one dictator (Shah) was replaced by another dictator (Khomeini).
But after the Iran-Iraq War the political power of the mullahs was reduced step by step.
Then Bush made his stupid "Axis of Evil"-speach and his other nonsense - like the war in Iraq, which really helped the radical mullahs in Iran.
Nevertheless - I am absolutely sure that in 5-10 years the mullahs will be replaced by the iranians themself, which will result in a stable regime. Maybe not a democracy like in western nations but it will bring us back to the point we lost, when Mossadegh was deposed by foreigners.
But if the foreigners intervene - Iran will become the same hell like Iraq or Afghanistan, where the foreign occupation-troops and Quislings are attacked and killed and the future of the nation will be destroyed for a long time.
Let the iranians deal with their mullahs - and there is a good chance that Iran will become a democracy one day.
