NY Times review of "My Life"

The book, which weighs in at more than 950 pages, is sloppy, self-indulgent and often eye-crossingly dull — the sound of one man prattling away, not for the reader, but for himself and some distant recording angel of history.

Quote
In many ways, the book is a mirror of Mr. Clinton's presidency: lack of discipline leading to squandered opportunities; high expectations, undermined by self-indulgence and scattered concentration

Quote
But the very lack of focus and order that mars these pages also prevented him from summoning his energies in a sustained manner to bring his insights about the growing terror threat and an Israeli-Palestinian settlement to fruition.

Check it out yourself,  maybe you'll save a few bucks.

Clinton is an ex president who is not up for re election.  So how come everyone is still attacking him as if it mattered?  He's yesterday's man. He's gone, finished, kaput.

Oh sorry I forgot. He's a Democrat and fair game.

Does anyone remember attacks on President Reagan from members of this board before he was even in his grave?

I would gladly kick him instead of my cats if he were but within reach.

You could give a bag of dog siht an entire episode on 60 minutes and it would make Amazon's top 10.

The hype assures this book the number 1 slot for quite some time.

That book was #1 on Amazon for the last two to three weeks. 60 minutes aired last night.

Is it even in bookstores yet?

Not yet.

You have to admit, though, the book is doing so well because of the hype.

of course it is. If the book isn't even in bookstores, the ONLY reason it's selling is because of hype and because of President Clinton's name.

Same thing happened with that Harry Potter book too.

Lotsa media hype sold millions of copies before the book was even out.

And both books were about guys who's only talent was their ability to make their wands disappear.
