it seems so clausterphobic in there now never much going on on ch 2 and ch 200 is totally lame.

theres no taunting no insults no jokes.

its like sitting in a doctors office waiting for a fight.

So far I don't mind because there often was so much non-game or otherwise irrelevant chat on 1.

Even salute rendering sometimes got distracting when expected or received for just routine actions rather than notable engagements.

In the eternal realism vs. playability debate, it was ironic that we couldn't have external views for more pleasurable airfield immersion and to freshen up otherwise boring climbout and cruising flight, but we had Channel 1 to chat up the "enemy."

I am only kidding, but I do kind of miss channel one, it was fun finding out where a certain squad was so we could go up against them. Some of my favourites to fly against are the Damned, and the Widowmakers. It is always a friendly fight with taunting.
But now it's kind of Generic. Sanitary.
The abuse of channel one is what did it in though, and we all know that.

Shane is in top form on CH 200 and so are others.

Not to worry ... Give it some time and CH 200 will wind itself back up to full RPMs akin to CH 1.

I would imagine that the tameness on CH 200 is due to the reasons why CH 1 has disappeared ... those who would be quick to spew their puke all over CH 1 are having second thoughts about doing the same on CH 200. At least for the time being.

I'd rather see crap maps like NdIsles and the like, where bases are a sectore or more apart, go by the wayside. The only good fights this weekend were where the carriers were, until some moron killed them.

I just don't get the need to have all the bases a sector or more apart. What is the benefit to game play? Unless boring everyone to death is the plan.

200 seems the same as channel 1. Politics and Insults. Just remind the new guys to tune 200 and things will be the same.

Why do you need channel 1, hell you have this forum to spew all your trash/hate talk. Picking on 16 yr old kids, calling them "retards" posting pictures of such. Then having your squad mate XtremeBJ come in and fuel the fire. Then said 16yr old kid has enough and says something he shouldnt have (just like you) and more than likely ended up being banned. I'll say it again......... just b/c you made a map doesnt make you god.

Yea I miss chan1 a lot. Having it removed just gives an overall feeling a restriction. Sort of like having a cranky old tight lipped school marm squinching her nose over you. "I dare you to talk."

But I guess we'll see how a kinder, gentler war game works.
I hate it, but I guess others have different taste. And who knows, maybe 200 will liven up after people get used to flying. Right now people might just be afraid to talk smack

I miss ch .1 Game seems to tame now, ch. 200 being clogged by 2 or 3 guys loving to see themselves talk.
