lag messing with trim setting.
« on: June 22, 2004, 08:04:19 AM »
im not sure if its the server or my pc but im getting alot of lag in ma. I have a 512 cable connection so i dont belive the problem in on my side.

i get the basic symptoms of screen bounces and sometimes goes into gun zoom.  the biggest problem is that it resets my trim, flashing ct on and off. i have ct set too off in flight so im not sure why it does this.:(

anyone else have this problem?

wrong way to go about your problem.....try not too point fingers cause that will not help matters.....

1- post your system specs.....

2- get ping plotter and post your pings(thats how skuzzy will find connection issue's...let it run for at least a few minutes)

3- DXDIAG.....post it if you would please(helps skuzzy determine if you have any hardware conflicts)

p.s. Skuzzy has alot of stuff to do....by doing what I suggested you will help Skuzzy in finding your problem QUICKLY

good luck

i have a 1.6 ghz proccesor, 1 gig of ddr ram, and an ati 6800 se. 512 cable connection.

im not sure what a ping plotter is, or DXDIAG, but im contacting my service provider to see if they have any ideas about connection problems. I am thinking its just that my service providers have their network spread a bit thin in my area.

im sure its some sort of connection problem as i had these same issues when i had my 56k.

thanks for the input SLO im sure i will get it sorted out soon. :aok

ping plotter is a little program you install...and its free

once you install it....you run a plotter course with the address of the game server......if you look around this BBS you will see examples of what I mean....

as for DXdiag...its a diagnostic tool that comes with Direct X

to run DXDIAG.....click start....run...and type dxdiag

a window will open up and voila.....go thru the process of testing.....save it....and send it to skuzzy with the ping plotter thing
