Thank you HItech for the new flight model I'm enjoying it immensely and can now cherrypick with impunity on the 10 or 12 lahurriniki's flying in there little pack.. Oh and thank you Levi for the whoopin's ya gave me in spit 5...have stolen a few of your moves and incorporated them nicely in AH2. Man I gotta go kill somethin now..bbl

I would probably help the rest of us more level headed individuals if we read this quote this way "HAHAHAHAHAHAHA to all you people who play AH for fun and enjoyment and kill me which essentially ends my life because I dont know how to wake up the next morning after being shot down in a video game"

Well, from tactical posistion, the only thing the la7, nik, hurricane have against a cherry-picking, boom and zoom, runaway when nme gets closer than 2k, run further if the nme has alt, nuetered pilot is to pull up into them.


And go for the HO.


So next time you're comming down on a target to pick a cherry - maybe your cherry pickee is watching you, and will pull up to meet you in a vertical HO merge. I know I will. My guns will be blazing.

And when you die from a hurricane the pulls up into you and takes the HO shot....know it's the only thing they got.

There is no greater reward than killing a couple La7/P-51/Niki/G-10's in a Hurricane MkI and then landing the kills.

AH2 is like a dream come true. It has dealt a mortal blow to so many forms of dweebery and gaminess in a one fell swoop! TOD might not be needed! The funniest part is flying against those who never flew the beta and/or have no idea of what WW2 gunnery was really like, and seeing them try their old AH1 gamey tricks in AH2. For those of us who did try the beta and who did read historical accounts of WW2 gunnery, and who have flown real planes and therefore knew that some of the AH1 tricks were just not possible in RL, AH2 makes perfect sense. To all others, I say Waaaaahhhhh!

The Hurri2 as a dweeb plane? I think what is being alluded to is that it has awesome guns, and the dweebs will always try to force the HO. In AH1 that was probably a valid tactic at 800 yds or more, even at an upward angle of more than 40°. I've got a film of me duelling CobraEye - he in a Hurri, me in a F6F - and his whole gambit consisted of trying to force the HO. It nearly worked.

Thank you Beetle, I was in serious despair for the intelligence level of our bbs friends for a while there. I'm glad a few of ya knew what I was talking about.  RT stuka are you a little upset about losing the arcade version of AH called AH1 or are ya just thick? Omg why I am defending myself...
