The Swedes and Danes get a final 2-2 score. Looks like the three sisters are still very friendly ;)

I really feel for the Italians, to have scored the winning goal in the last minute...

It was great drama.

lol...the italians predicted that the Scandinavians would be Machievellian in the way they approached the match. The Scandinavians pointed out in return where Machievelli came from...great answer!

First of all, a big to Bulgaria for their commitment and fair play

Then a big to Sweden and Denmark.
They deserved their passage  to quarters.
The final score 2-2 was one of the possible results; this has come out and this we have to accept, all the speculations are meaningless.

Italian team lost his European champ playing a colourless match against Denmark, an average match against Sweden and a luckless match against Bulgaria.

Too little for a team of "so called Champions".
Maybe a team of good players but not champions at all.
We will learn by our mistake, I hope.....

But ......don't give us any more lessons on fair play.......we are not in the mood to accept them , at the moment

Mind it?  Do you mean does it bother me?  No, I just don't watch it.  It isn't one of the bigger sports over here since most of us suck at it.

Lol Mart I know the feeling; baseball, for example ,is not so popular here
When i was young I had a friend , here at US Army Camp Darby base, who had plaiyed baseball (in a Miami team, maybe  Marlins?? if i remember well), he tried to teach me playing it; well I sucked so bad, never had a feeling with that bat, lol.
Anyway I like to watch baseball on TV even if some rules remain so unclear to me.

Italy deserved to be out really. They played poorly.

Bulgaria and fair play? They are a set of diving bastards with all the entertainment value of a hung over pub team.

If you think the game was set up you either didn't watch the game or just don't have brains to understand it...

The Danes were better but the Swedes mannaged to slip a second one in after 89 minutes.

Can't believe all this Italian BS about conspiracys, it was their own inability to play football that kept them from reaching the semi-finals, bad manners to go throwing dirt at other teams.

Wilb, here in Italy only some trash press  (yes we have too)is writing about conspiracys.
Most of people think our players, rightly, are at home for their incapacity only.
People has waited for they arrival at airport shouting "shame on you".
Enough to say, I think.
Maybe theory of conspiracy is debated more in other places than here;)

It disgusts me to think that Italy are accusing people of conspiracy.  They have no one to blame than themselves; they should never have to rely on anyone else to get a result for themselves.  If they won all their games then they'd be through, simple as that.

bye bye Germany.:)

Looks like Germany have 2 years to find two forwards and some midfielders or face being a laughing stock when they host the World Cup in '06.

It's going to be a fantastic match tomorrow.  I can't wait! Come on England!:)
