RAF Spitfires 71st Eagles
« on: June 23, 2004, 09:57:29 AM »
We're a new squad forming up. Our primary mission will be flying fighter escorts for an established squad. We fly for the Knights and we're looking for Spit V Pilots. Spit V's are the plane we will fly 99 percent of the time.

We have no ranking system per se. We want guys that like to have fun and fly fighters. We're not a JABO or Bomber Squad. We don't have a squad night as of yet but may establish one. The primary night of escorts will be on Thursdays as that is when the squad we escort has theirs.

We use VOX channel 122 as our squad channel as well as 121 when flying with the other squad. We will fly Fighter Sweeps and Cap Bases while they JABO and BOMB.

If interested contact RedTop or Hopper16 in AHII or simply reply to this post with your email addy. We'll give you more details at that time.

ttt....

TW9..I'm working on just what you said. XJ and STang and Doolittle gave me some help on SA in the DA. Hard to watch those 3 at the same time. If you learn to tho you have a better chance to stay alive.

Thanks again for the tips. Hope to see ya up when ya can. I would welcome the opprotunity to wing with ya somethime.

Take Care Bud :)

when i started a spitfire squadron in AH1 2 months ago i could never have believed it would take off like this! totaly chuffed!

with the support of Redtop we cannot go wrong surely!

in the old squad (rafspitfires  EAGLES) there was only me and buffer.

then we recruited some more guys and some of them expert pilots such as hopper16 and mongrel.

when i met redtop we noticed each others desire to make a spitfire squadron and this is the result.

best of luck chaps and i am gutted i wont be on for a month or so.

see you guys in the 'skies'
