It's from a Parliament song,  P.Funk (Wants to Get Funked Up)..  Getting funked up is what happens when you listen to P.Funk on the intergalactic radio station WEFUNK.  It's not a sexual reference or a reference to vulgarity.

Edit:  That's my old callsign.  Current one is Orze1.  "Orzel" is the Polish word for Eagle, the national symbol, which appears on the national flag and military uniforms and insignia.  It's also a rather potent bird of prey.

My Dad's uncle flew a B-24 out of N.Africa.  I'm a member of EAA Warbirds (not related to the flight sim).  I used to be a member of the local chapter and while I was got a ride in Barbie III (B-25H) and got to crawl around in a 'stang and an Avenger.  I bought a ride in the Collings Foundation B-24 last summer.  I go to Oshkosh about every other year.

I love heavy metal (mostly prog metal and power metal).

TheSpof. A bastardization of my regular nick which is Spof. Some banana here already took Spof. I picked it back in the Confirmed Kill days as it was a four letter pronouncable nick. Fittingly enough, it's also a tech acronym for Single Point Of Failure which sums up my flying at times.

My only connection to aviation is 15 years as a aircraft mechanic.  Connection to WWII:  Grandfather was a tailgunner in a B-17, shot down over Italy became a Pow after 29 missions 1945.  Helped restore a Me-262-2b up in Seattle (Paine Field).
