Downloaded AH2.0 patch 2, but the application won't start because it says it can't find d3d9.dll.  Suggestions?:confused:

Skuzzy;

Downloaded directx from the site you sent me to.  Restarted the PC.  Same problem -- can't open the app, same .dll missing.  Other ideas??

After you download the file, you have to install it.

To see if the installation went well, go to Start->Run and type in "DXDIAG".  This utility will show you the version of DirectX that is installed on your computer near the bottom center of the opening panel.

d3d9.dll is part of the DirectX 9 runtime, which has to come from Microsoft.
