WOW!  Where did this game come from?

Home Page

Havent come across a release date yet, but it looks like UbiSoft is aiming to take on the MoH series - and from the looks of everything on the website they are shooting for about as much realism as you can have while maintaining fun.

14 Min trailer available on site.

*EDIT: "Fall 2004" release.

Some screenies:

Eye candy is great, ill give em that!  Saw the trailer, if gameplay is anything like that, it'll be the best FPS out there.  And if it goes multiplayer... :D

Aye - if the multiplayer is good the DoD2 team will certainly have its work cut out for them.

Deffenetly. If that goes online, then that is going to be awesome. Will probably be some time before it goes online see'ing as it hasnt even been released yet. Doesn't seem like they are planning for it to go online either. The trailer is about 13 men and such. We can hope! Good stuff!

Gamespot has a video with actual gameplay.

Looks very promising.

Wonder what multiplayer will look like.

wow.
Why does the focus on the front blade sight look wrong though. Like the shooter is focused on the enemy 200 yards away, the front sight and the hedge 300 yards away all at the same time.
Maybe it just stands out to me because they focused out the rear apature so well.

As long as it doesn't turn into "airquake" like ww2online.
