Problem with hat switch
« on: June 25, 2004, 06:34:43 AM »
For some reason the hat swich of my ForceFX stick (being seen as a CH Fighterstick I think) only produces back and left views in my latest setup (AHII and Win  XP).  Whether I push the hat left or right I get left view.  Whether I push it forward or back I get back view.

It was fine before in AHI and Win 98.

Any ideas how to fix this?

Is that a gameport/analog stick???

XP doesn't support it :(

Dual boot time?  Saw something about a boot disk for analog sticks but think it was for CHPro stuff.

Yes - its analog and I have to program it my dual boot Win setup, but I would have thought that the hat switch should work?

I don't have a clue how to help out here.  Only seen stuff here and there about XP and analog stuff.

I'm still with W98se.  Plannin on investing in XP or Linux and some CHPro USB stuff later but money is kinda tight right now.
