Off. Don't have the system to run the smoke, shoot better without em anyway.
(although for Osties and ground attack I find them helpful).

i use tracers on but it is only becuz i use a Bore sight on all my planes witch gives me a clear view of what i am shooting at. When I was using the in game gun sights they block my view of my shots and with tracers on with game sight I really cant see what i am shooting at. So tracers on with my new single dot bore sight and i can see great. get sight Here

The only problem I see with tracers is this - you tend to move your nose while shooting. Back in AW there was excellent advice - point to where the plane is going to go and burst a stream and let him fly through it. If you miscalculate, dont wiggle your nose, just quit shooting and try to line up again. Initially you'll probably miss a lot, but in the end, your aim will be dead on. In AH2 it seems this style of shooting will be very important, as any nose wiggle seems to make you miss. Ill try it after I get to play again

Always been off. Turned them on for a couple flights to see how they looked in AH2. They looked cool but I couldn't hit squat. Turned them back off. Doing ok now.

Hum just was wondering If your tracers are off does it turn off the tracers coming from other planes also? Or is it just show off on your plane? Has anyone noticed?

nope.. other planes still shoot at u with tracers if they have it on..
they just dont see yours when your shooting at them:lol

Enemy and other friendly plane tracers are still on if you turn yours off.

ON: Only use for me is sometimes it will scare a plane off someones six when their too far out to kill.

On at the moment.

Once I'm used to the difference in Icons I will most likely revert to turning them off. (I very rarely had them on, in AHI)
