No.  I know it's something pathetically simple.  I can record in the windows voice recorder.  I can tune the radio (.radio 5 oldman) just like the help file says, and I can even hear myself talk.  But no one around me can hear me.

So I wound the cords neatly around the nifty headset and threw it into a corner.  Will fuss around with it again (maybe) late next week when we return from vacation.

Dude no one around you is gonna be able to hear you unless they're tuned to "oldman" too. That's just how the tuned channel works yaknow. Try picking a number instead and see if that works. Or better yet try talking to them on range channel which precludes all that mystical tuning crap.

I am quite aware of the fact that I have no chance to become a CT staffer.

But I'm curious do you find something false in my statements?  Sometimes the truth cuts the worse.  I'm not here to work within the system  To smooch up to the CT staffers to gain acceptance would be to just become one of them, something we hardly need, and something I couldn't stoop myself to be.

I am hear to break the mold, keep the tyrants in line and speak my opinion any time I choose.  If you chose less than that that's your problem.

I have to do this everytime I log into Ace's.
